What's your favorite food? Imagine how it tastes, how it smells, the texture of it in your mouth... these are all sensory experiences. And these experiences can put us in a state of stress or threat, but like your favorite food, they can put you in a state of relaxed calm just as quickly. I had such a great time talking with the incredible Lindsey Vestal about how we can all use our sensory system to bring those feelings of safety and calm into our bodies. When our bodies feel safe, we experience less pain, less urinary and bowel symptoms, and more joy in our lives. I hope you enjoy listening!
